The last two weeks in stand-up comedy have been supah fun!
Sunday, March 21st I got to open for the hilarious Brad Williams at the Ice House in Pasadena! He did so well that he's going to get to Headline a full weekend there sometime in the near future...CONGRATS!
Thursday, March 25th I opened up for Dante from Last Comic Standing (did a 40min set) when we drove down to San Diego to perform for the troops. I had a blast! They treated us really well, and after the show we got to hangout, take pictures, and sign autographs. I was extremely honored to be able to perform for them, and can't wait to do it again!
Friday, March 26th I got to do a guest spot at The Downtown LA Comedy Club. It was my first time performing there, and it was a really fun experience. Everyone is super supportive and it actually feels like you're working on your craft. I had a great set and got to meet the incredible Garrett Morris and Lea Routledge! They enjoyed my performance so much that they came to support me at the Jon Lovitz Club this past Sunday. I admire both of them like THIS much (I'm spreading my arms really wide right now), and truly appreciated the fact that they would spend their Sunday evening supporting my stand-up.
Sunday, March 28th I co-produced/performed at The Jon Lovitz Club with some amazing comedians. We put on such a great show that they asked us back (I'll post the date soon!). I've realized that I always get a different reaction when I initially say that I have Tourette Syndrome. I said it two weeks ago and some girl screamed out "NO YOU DON'T!" I was like "Yea...you're right...like for the last 22 years of my life a ghost has just been punching my face!" This time I said I had TS and a girl in the front row screamed out "AWESOME." Last night I said I had TS and some girl shouted "WE KNOW!" I think it's the same girl coming to every show. At first she didn't believe it...then she loved it...and now she's upset with it.
Looking forward to what April has in store for me! Thanks for all of the support so far everyone, hope to see ya soon!
